Disclaimers & Waivers

INDEMNIFICATION:

Your Paralegal cannot and will not legally advise any Client of anything concerning any legal matter outside of set procedural requirements. Any paperwork prepared should be reviewed by an attorney of your choice, and your option to do this, or to not do this, is entirely up to you and under your liability. All legal knowledge is based on procedural requirements and local professional experience. Each party will agree to indemnify and hold harmless the other, their agents, employees, assigns, and successors, against any and all claims which result from or arise out of any act or omission of the indemnifying party, their agents, employees, assigns, and successors that occurs in connection with any Agreement between the Paralegal and Client. This indemnification will survive the termination of any Agreement.

TERMS:

The Paralegal will prepare your paperwork concerning your matter under the following conditions:

INVOICING:

The Client will be supplied an invoice either in print and/or electronically (via email/online invoicing service through Square) at Paralegal’s discretion for any work done on each individual matter (billed separately by matter) to the address/email(s) noted in the Agreement between you and the Paralegal. All invoices will be payable upon receipt and within ten (10) days of the date of the invoice. Any unpaid invoices will be charged a $15 late fee per month. All invoices are payable in cash, check (payable to Jeffrey E. Jacques), or EFT/charge (an invoice will be supplied to you by email).

AGREEMENT:

All clients, regardless of complexity of the matter contracted, will sign a contract/waiver detailing the nature of the relationship between you and the Paralegal; which may include, but are not limited to the above terms and understandings.
